Litecoin

A faster-block, Scrypt-mined sibling of Bitcoin.

One of the oldest cryptocurrencies, launched in 2011 as a fork of Bitcoin's code. It uses Scrypt proof of work, 2.5-minute blocks and an 84 million coin supply, adopted SegWit and Lightning early, and adds opt-in privacy through MimbleWimble Extension Blocks (MWEB).
