Kaspa

A proof-of-work blockDAG with very fast blocks.

Instead of a single chain, blocks form a directed acyclic graph ordered by the GHOSTDAG protocol, so parallel blocks are merged rather than orphaned. This lets Kaspa produce many blocks per second under proof of work (kHeavyHash) without sacrificing security.

How does Kaspa's blockDAG get fast blocks without orphans?

Each Kaspa block references every tip it sees, so parallel blocks are merged, not orphaned. GHOSTDAG colours well-connected blocks blue and orders the DAG, supporting 10 PoW blocks per second since Crescendo.
