Dogecoin

The meme coin that became a payments network.

Started in 2013 as a joke based on the Doge meme and derived from Litecoin's code. Blocks come every minute, issuance is a flat 10,000 DOGE per block with no supply cap, and most of its hash power comes from merged mining with Litecoin (AuxPoW).
