Year 2017 has blockchain all over written it and thanks to Bitcoin and another cryptocurrency that are up more than 1500%. ICOs and raising funds using coins has become a common way to raise money and billions have raised in 2017 alone. Not only individual investors but larger financial institutions and funds are betting heavy on cryptocurrency.
Morgan Stanley have invested $2 billion in cryptocurrency in 2017, according to a news published by Business Insider and will likely to invest a lot more in 2018.
Earlier this month, Bitcoin price has reached little over $20,000 that is from $750 in the beginning of the year. Currently, Bitcoin price is hovering around $17k. Other Altcoins have also increased in value over 1000% or more.
