Luxury Hotel Group Pavilions Begins Accepting Cryptocurrencies

The Pavilions Hotels & Resorts, a high-end hotels group, recently, announced that it will begin accepting cryptocurrency to book accommodations on Wednesday.
 
The group said that it has become the first international boutique hotel group to accept cryptocurrencies from any nation for accommodation bookings, leading the tourism industry into the future of secure online payments. The company has partnered with UK-based, global crypto-payment gateway, Coindirect. All of The Pavilions’ hotels and resorts can now be booked with digital assets including Bitcoin, Ethereum and 40 other virtual currencies.

Crypto payments will be available for direct bookings via each hotel’s reservations centre from July 07, 2021. Soon, customers will also be able to do booking using cryptcurrency on website booking engines as well.
 
Well, Pavilions group's portfolio of 14 properties in Europe and the Asia Pacific region includes locations in Rome, Lisbon, Madrid, Bali, Mongolia, Thailand, and the Himalayas.
