Recently, Polygon announced that Community Gaming is bringing its esports tournaments to Polygon.
Polygon, which is a protocol and a framework for creating and connecting Ethereum-compatible blockchain networks, aggregates scalable solutions on Ethereum supporting a multi-chain Ethereum ecosystem.
Community Gaming is an esports tournaments platform that allows organizers to create custom esports tournaments quickly and pay winners instantly. With Polygon full-stack Ethereum scaling solution, Community Gaming will enable super-fast payments to the tournament winners.
Polygon said that using Polygon’s high-speed and low-gas infrastructure, customers will get a seamless experience while using the platform. Organizers from South East Asia have deployed the first tournament, "Axie Infinity Squads League" on Polygon, and because of that in Axie Infinity Squads League winners received their payments in less than 3 seconds. While in traditional esports tournaments payouts take weeks and sometimes even months.

It's worth noting that Community Gaming, recently, raised a whopping $2.3 million from notable investors. Now. the arrival of the platform on Polygon will attract more non-gamers into the crypto space by providing a superior user experience.

Well, a $2,500 Skyweaver tournament will be the first official Polygon-powered tournament of the partnership, taking place in mid August. Skyweaver is a free-to-play trading card game where competitors actually own, trade and sell their NFT cards created by Horizon Blockchain Games.
