Effective Analysis of Web 2.0 Applications and Tools in Educational Field

Introduction

Under this analysis, this Web 2.0 article contains conviction about Technologies and Tools in our study phase and teaching phase. Day by Day new technologies replace everyone in its upcoming paradigm headway and there is no one intact with its impact. In the past decade, Web 2.0 had a successful competent rate. A digitization Wave gives an utmost vision and platform which is beneficial and accepted by both students and teachers, Internet is a compatible backbone for web applications and technologies. And the secret to a stable connection between teacher and learner in the Education system is due to WWW Web2.0 and the internet. The efficacy of Web 2.0 principles and tools has fired a blast of info and media hike content on the Web, and several and corporate acceptance continues to rise of the applications and technologies.

As the influences and usefulness of these technologies continue to be disclosed, there has yet been no brief explanation of the term Web 2.0, nor a clear definition of its scope in an understandable manner. We focused on and analyze the existence of academics on the topic to-

1) Provide a simplified, definition of Web 2.0,
2) Categorize opportunities for the future and cover the term uniqueness, and
3) Provide the best supportive applications which include library and information services.

This article analysis on previous research and depends upon our practical vision of Web 2.0 tools. Our goal is to find the Web 2.0 applications, and how libraries provide unique services and future view uses to their users.

The term Web2.0 prefers the development of online services that enhance communication and information collaboration. Web2.0 reflects changes in how we use the web rather than describing any technical change. After using Web 2.0 tools in libraries, more facilities are provided by libraries, and more services are offered at the doorstep to their users. Web2.0 services implemented within our organization, feedback from users Web2.0 services are rapidly becoming implanted in various forms of life as more young people identify and combine these powerful contact tools. Similarly, all over the world are using Web2.0 technologies to promote services, share information, connect with users, and network with other users, on a global scale. It represents a passive experience shift of static "read-only" web pages to the experience of dynamic and interactive web pages.

Since all evolution of the Web by Tim expanded and evolved in different phases, namely, Web 1.0, Web 2.0, and Web 3.0. The transition from Web 1.0 to Web 2.0 was a significant phase in terms of the information because Web 1.0 is all about one communication phase. Web 2.0 like Blogger, Twitter, and Facebook information can be shared and collaborated among multiple different users. The next-generation Web, known as Web 3.0, is the combination of the features of both (Web1.0 & Web 2.0)  the phases, and other features also.

The Methodology behind the WWW tools in Education System

Internet technology has been introduced and utilized in the field of education in a widespread and diverse manner. The Internet applications help students and learners to interact with each other directly, economically, and easily without any time and space limitations. Web 2.0 provides technologies that change the way of web and services which is used by people. Web 2.0 also known as a system of Learning, effective use of the opportunities offered by the Internet in education to provide a confront designed us as the environment. The main factor differentiating web 2.0 technologies from other web technologies based on users become active participants in the content creation process in their learning experience. Thus, users can discuss with each other, interact with the content, on the website make changes in line for their use, and share their ideas with others. Web 2.0 environments in education are featured as the learners to read, write, think, and reflect during the learning activities. So, since learners and users can easily create web pages without having coding knowledge, using such environments becomes popular in the educational system.

Among the most used web 2.0 learning fields, blogging, wikis, podcast and social networking or platform can be specified. The utilization rates and utilization patterns of these environments are different according to the various course areas. It offers the opportunity to create flexible and updateable content.

Blog

Blogs are defined as online static texts, images, videos, and links, that facilitate interaction with other users. Here, everyone can read and write their views. Many fields of studies assert that blogs have a positive impact on academic performance.

Wikis

Wikis as a knowledge base by enabling the students to share their thoughts and the importance of the teaching practices. Wiki is a web platform that allows users to write, edit, and modify a content piece of the collection.  Map concept is used in wikis. Wiki's are open web pages, where everyone registered with the Wiki's can circulate to it, revise them, and change them.

Social Networking Sites

With all features Social Network Sites, allow the users to send e-mails, post comments, share audio and video files, take part in live chats, etc. Nowadays MySpace, Facebook, Flicker, Picasa, Orkut, YouTube, etc., social networks are very popular.

Data Analysis and Encoding

After data collection is the transformation of the study characteristics and the effect sizes which will be the independent and dependent variables respectively. The difference between characteristics is one of the factors that explain the different effect sizes.

The important data of the study are the sample's grade level, the total number of participants, experimental group, control group participants, experimental group mean, control group average, experimental group standard deviation, control standard deviation, and its value, if necessary, the direction of the effect, value, effect size, and the notes of additional information.

Important analyze different values in different studies which will be evaluated in the research with a common unit of measurement. This common unit is the effect size. The value is utilized to make calculations from the mean differences between the experiments and control. Instead of the value, the value can be used in the calculations based on the difference between the group averages. The current analysis is performed by using CMA (Comprehensive Meta-Analysis) program is utilized to perform calculations.

Summary

The study presents a general trend of Web 2.0 tools used in every field. It was found that Web 2.0 tools like Social networks, Blogs, Wikis like Facebook, Twitter, etc. were the most used social media sites by them. As a result the findings of this study related to the above studies which state that the use of social media is quickly growing among youth.

Web 2.0 functions as a backbone for the teaching and learning process. It helps in enhancing the learning skills from both students’ and teachers' sides as well. The paper discussed various tools which will be helpful for the learning environment. Although a lot of educational organizations are using Web 2.0 technology and tools, that’s caused by a lack of other institutes behind them. This is because we lack proper training regarding the technology. The lack of physical appearance is also a big reason for interest in Web 2.0. This time we need to focus on the latest incorporated web resources in the process of growing technical knowledge. Also, it is essential the use and integrate these technological devices into our day-to-day life which will help to boost their features of development and help in creating students for better learning.
